Our Team
At The Body Clinic and Body Clinic Fitness Emma has built up a varied team of physiotherapists who bring all their specialties together to provide our patients with the best possible care. There are eight physiotherapists working at the clinic, two sports massage therapists, numerous physiotherapy qualified fitness instructors and the office staff. We also have great contacts with the local Drs, consultants, podiatrists, trainers to ensure that our patients receive a comprehensive approach to their treatment.

Emma O’Reilly

Emma originally qualified as a massage therapist and then as a sports injury therapist in 1991, treating the Irish national cycling team for three years and then moving to the USA to work with a professional cycling team. From this, she moved on to a larger more ambitious team in the USA which, by the time she left to set up her own practice, had become the world’s number one team.
Emma took over The Body Clinic several years ago and now treats premiership footballers and Olympians alike. On setting up the clinic Emma had a vision of building a team of physiotherapists around her who share her belief that every client who comes to the clinic has the right to the same level of service that any world-class athlete would receive.
She has recently started teaching Body Massage and Sports Therapy at South Trafford College as well as receiving Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) accreditation for Body Clinic Fitness where she is running courses from.
Andy Wilkinson

Andy is an experienced state registered physiotherapist as well as having a degree in sports rehabilitation. Andy has been with The Body Clinic for several years and has an enviable reputation in lower limb specialist. As well as all this Andy is a top class athlete running 400m so is well aware of the demands on the serious and not so serious athlete. Like The Body Clinic Andy has developed a strong working relationship with several local consultants and in involved with pre and postoperative care.
Kathryn Kwan

Kathryn is a physiotherapist who has several years experience in the NHS before joining us. She specialises in musculoskeletal injuries, spinal pain and chronic issues and as such is in great demand. She is also the head physiotherapist at Bowden Hockey Club and has worked with them at the National Indoor finals and European Championships to mention just a couple. Kathryn is particularly effective at upper limb injuries/pain and has recently received her MSc in Sports Injuries in Bath. Over the summer she acted as a volunteer physiotherapist in the London Olympics.
Ally Beattie
Ally qualified in 1989 and while working as a senior physiotherapist in the Royal London Hospital joined Tottenham Football Club, initially part time. At Tottenham, he graduated to the reserve team and then from 1998 was the first team physiotherapist for six years. He then moved on the Manchester City were he was their head physiotherapist from 2004- 2009, working under Kevin Keegan, Sven Goran Eriksson and Mark Hughes. When not at The Body Clinic, he is currently with Burnley Football Club and is helping them in their bid to get back to Premiership status.
Phil Burt
Phil is British Cycling’s Head Physiotherapist and looks after the likes of Bradley Wiggins, Sir Chris Hoy, Geraint Thomas, and Chris Froome amongst others. Before this he was with Sale Sharks during their premier league winning years, in 2007 he went to British Cycling. Since then he has been a vital part of their back room team in helping them achieve their Beijing and London Olympic successes. One of his specialities is correct bike fitting and posture as he has seen first-hand how this prevents injuries and increase performance. Phil brings the above physiotherapy skills to The Body Clinic.
Caroline Dugworth
Caroline graduated as a physiotherapist six years ago and specialises in women’s health, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal patients. Pilates is of special interest to her and she has now been teaching Pilates for three years. At Body Clinic Fitness, she teaches Pilates and Hot Pilates. Caroline also has a special interest in the role of Pilates in pre and post natal women and provides special instruction during and post pregnancy. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health (ACPWP)
Adam Grainger
Adam runs a Strength and Conditioning class at Body Clinic Fitness. He is part of the high performance team and head of Sports Science at Sale Sharks. He has previously worked with Saracens and London Wasps. Adam received his BSc & MSc in Sports Science from Brunel University. His main responsibilities with Sale Sharks are the physical preparation of the players and managing their training load. He monitors their well-being, hydration, recovery, training volume and optimal performance.
